Health and safety are one of our four core corporate values. Therefore, all of us at MAXAM are committed to meeting the highest safety standards on a daily basis.
To ensure that these safety practices are part of the company’s universal language, we have an arsenal of resources: training, focus groups, participation, continuous assessment and constant dialogue.
It is also the responsibility of all of us to make a difference and guarantee our well-being in each of the places on the planet where MAXAM operates. It does not matter in which part of the organization chart you are or where your business operates – we have a common objective: that all of us, and all the people related to our activity, get home safe and sound every day.
To achieve this, we carry out systematic internal audits and inspections of safety. We believe in self-evaluation to achieve excellence in our facilities and activities are our roadmap in terms of continuously improving our performance, always in strict compliance with each country’s regulations through total transparency and collaboration with the authorities.
Voluntary compliance with the highest global standards
The MAXAM Occupational Health & Safety Policy sets out the necessary guidelines to guarantee the safety and well-being of all those professionals, customers, collaborators, stakeholders and communities in which we operate and who interact with the company on a day-to-day basis. In addition, in all of our workplaces and offices around the world, we have very basic rules of behavior and safety in mind: the Life Saving Rules.
